Small Town Joys

Updated: Jul 2, 2020

It really is a joy living in a small town. And running a business in a small town? Compared to the big city we came from, where most people are unknown and hardly familiar, this small town allows us the chance to know faces, names and the stories that ultimately connect us. Old connections, new connections—all part of a larger fabric. It feels safe here. When we have the opportunity to benefit an organization, it really is a treat. We have always felt that giving causes joy. Recently we were involved with a donation to the Plumas National Forest. We are grateful for these hard-working folks. After all, we are completely surrounded by forest in Plumas County! We knew they were grateful for our participation, but we were not expecting a hand delivered thank you note. We felt blessed by this exchange. We love this little town and her people. 💚 Midtown Coffee
